What You’ll Get To Do:
- Ensure a safe work environment and compliance with plant safety standards. Conduct monthly safety meetings and instruct personnel in proper job procedures.
- Supervises and directs the cleaning and maintenance of the grounds, buildings and other areas of the plant.
- Tracks and confirms employee time using Kronos.
- Provide relief supervision in the Production Department as required.
- Supervise and direct Plant Yard crew, and contractors for projects as required.
Who we are looking for:
- Experience in heavy industry or manufacturing environment
- Ability to communicate effectively and interact in a group setting
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Must be detail oriented and have a high degree of self-motivation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office required, SAP and Kronos experience preferred
Work Environment:
- Role operates primarily a professional office environment, but requires conducting business at manufacturing locations and job sites where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels
