Role Description

We are looking for an experience Service Technician (Mechanical or Electrical) to join our Pacific region. This is a field-based role and you may be based at our client site in Marshall Islands, Samoa, Labasa (Fiji) or at our Aggreko depot in Suva. This team supports the maintenance, servicing and trouble-shooting of our Pacific clients for temporary power, heating & cooling solutions, with a focus on power stations.

Key responsibilities

  • Completion of services, repairs and overhauls on time, to standard and within agreed budgets

  • Ensure adherence to safety practices and quality standards

  • Carry out the total maintenance of equipment

  • Maintain the stock levels of materials required and ensure that the appropriate tools are in place and ready for use

  • Report and document component failures

  • Contribute to optimum team performance and capability by providing quality workmanship to maintain and enhance the reliability of equipment

  • Assist, support and train lower level service crew

  • Test and evaluate refurbished and repaired generators and prepare test reports as per ISO standard

What we’re looking for

  • A relevant trades qualification in mechanical or electrical

  • Experience (minimum 2 years) in the servicing and maintenance of diesel engines / generators (ideally Cummins engines)

  • Ideally have experience with trouble shooting / diagnostics

  • Be available for a 8 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster (with travel to and from site during your work time)

  • Be able to FIFO out of the Philippines
