About the role:

This role is dedicated to delivering exceptional service across a range of industries. As a Service Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing dosing equipment while ensuring all work meets the highest standards of technical quality and complies with Australian electrical and safety regulations. Your efforts will support the reliable operation of customer equipment, timely delivery service, and the ongoing achievement of outstanding customer satisfaction.

Travel is a significant part of this role, so flexibility and reliability are essential.

Key responsibilities:

  • Installation Quality: Follow manufacturer specifications and Australian electrical and relevant standards to install dosing equipment neatly, correctly, and safely.
  • Breakdown Response: Attend customer sites promptly to diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance on customer dosing equipment to ensure reliability and full functionality.
  • Workshop Repairs: Efficiently repair and restore non-functioning equipment returned to the workshop.
  • Reporting Compliance: Complete and submit all electronic service reports accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as local statutory requirements. Report any new compliance matters to management.
  • Incident Reporting: Promptly notify management in writing of any events that could impact business operations.
  • Administrative Accuracy: Complete all work-related documentation neatly, accurately, and on time, and submit without delay.
  • Safe Work Practices: Follow all safety procedures, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and uphold Sealed Air’s values, policies, and quality systems.
  • Licensing: Current and valid driver’s license

About you

  • Background in chemical hygiene and the food industry.
  • Skilled in equipment installation, service, and repairs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
  • Willing to travel within Victoria and occasionally interstate.
  • “A Grade” licensed electrician in Victoria
  • Adaptable to working within a large, matrix-style organisation.
