About the Role: 

We are seeking a highly analytical, data-driven, and creatively minded SEO/GEO Manager to support our search optimization efforts across traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven discovery platforms. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical abilities, deep curiosity, and a passion for continuous optimization. 

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) 
    • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic visibility and traffic. 
    • Optimize on-page elements including metadata, headings, internal linking, schema markup, and content structure. 
    • Manage keyword research, intent mapping, and content recommendations. 
    • Monitor rankings, impressions, clickthrough rates, and other performance indicators. 
  • AI Search Optimization (AIO) 
    • Implement optimization strategies tailored for AI-driven search platforms and large language model (LLM) powered discovery. 
    • Ensure content is structured, authoritative, and context-rich to surface accurately in generative AI answers. 
    • Identify gaps and opportunities in AI search visibility and adjust content efforts accordingly. 
  • Data Pulling, Analysis, and Reporting 
    • Pull, organize, and analyze data from analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, PowerBI, Salesforce). 
    • Interpret data trends to drive decisions, uncover opportunities, and diagnose performance issues. 
    • Create dashboards and reports to communicate findings to internal stakeholders. 
  • Competitive & Market Analysis 
    • Conduct ongoing competitive research, including ranking comparisons, content audits, and backlink evaluations. 
    • Identify competitive advantages and gaps in content, SERP features, and AI generated responses. 
    • Monitor industry and algorithm changes to stay ahead of trends. 
  • Website & Content Management (WordPress) 
    • Manage onsite updates and publish content using WordPress. 
    • Collaborate with designers, writers, and developers to implement SEO best practices in site updates. 
    • Perform technical checks, including page speed audits, plugin evaluations, redirects, and site health monitoring. 

 

Experience We’re Looking For: 

  • Strong proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console).  
  • Demonstrated ability to pull, transform and analyze large data sets using spreadsheets, dashboards, and data visualization tools. 
  • Experience optimizing for AI driven search strongly preferred. 
  • Working knowledge of structured data, schema markup, and basic HTML/CSS. 
  • Hands on experience managing, editing, and optimizing content in WordPress or similar CMS platforms. 
  • Understanding of plugin ecosystems, SEO related enhancements, and site performance considerations. 
  • Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and translate findings into content and optimization strategies. 
  • Forward-thinking mindset with a passion for emerging search technologies and evolving user behavior. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  • Comfortable presenting complex SEO/GEO concepts to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.

The base salary range for candidates within the United States is listed below. Actual base pay will depend on a variety of factors such as education, skills, experience, specific location, etc. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Regular employees may also be eligible for bonus(es), sales incentive(s) (target included in OTE) and/or stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
