At Dyson, we are passionate about taking care of our shoppers and owners. Selling directly to our global customers is central to our business strategy, allowing us to offer exclusive machines and cultivate unique owner relationships that only Dyson can provide. By leveraging our strong brand and customer loyalty, the E-Commerce team is responsible for driving Dyson’s growth via the online shopping experience.
About the role
As our SEO Manager, you’ll set the agenda for our organic search strategy across the UK and Ireland—accelerating organic growth, increasing site visibility, and ensuring our customers have the best experience possible. Your work will combine hands-on technical knowhow with strategic vision, always keeping brand and business growth at the front of your mind.
You’ll:
- Lead the development and execution of advanced SEO strategies, increasing organic traffic and revenue across Dyson’s markets.
- Shape and deliver innovative initiatives, from AI-ready content to GEO optimisation, and ensure we’re always ahead of changing search trends.
- Take ownership of on-site and off-site optimisation—managing everything from keyword strategy and content briefs to technical audits and link-building.
- Collaborate with content, analytics, IT, and e-commerce teams to embed SEO into everything we do. You’ll spot opportunities and solve challenges in site structure, crawlability, indexation, and speed.
- Partner with agencies and internal stakeholders, guiding best practice and sharing knowledge while managing budgets and timelines confidently.
- Analyse SEO performance using leading tools, translating data and insights into clear actions that improve rankings, increase conversions, and drive growth.
- Advocate for a digital-first, content-led approach—helping shape a business mindset that’s always looking to lower media costs and maximise organic results.
About you
To succeed in the role, we expect you to have:
- At least four years’ experience in SEO roles (agency or client-side), ideally in complex, regional or multinational organisations.
- Strong record of delivering SEO strategies that drive real, measurable results—traffic, conversions, or revenue.
- Deep technical understanding—site architecture, mobile optimisation, Core Web Vitals, and large-scale technical audits.
- Confident identifying and fixing technical SEO issues, with clear recommendations for improvement.
- Expert user of SEO and analytics tools (e.g. SEMrush, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
- Strategic approach to keyword research, competitor analysis, and reporting—always seeking actionable insight.
- Experience managing agencies, budgets and multiple projects, while building positive relationships across teams.
- Exceptional communicator, able to explain complex SEO in simple terms to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
- Curious about emerging trends, passionate about testing new ideas, and committed to keeping Dyson ahead in organic search.
