GENERAL FUNCTION:

Responsible for directing cross-functional resources on highly complex Treasury Management Product Implementations. Objectives include timely project completion, full revenue realization, and the development of the client's confidence in Fifth Thirds products and service delivery. Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to act as one voice representing Fifth Third Bank, resolving issues and ensuring project goals and requirements are met. Requires a high level of customer and internal partner interaction at varying levels, delivering comprehensive internal and external reporting.

Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads customer implementations of a highly complex nature. High level of complexity is derived from:
  • Tiered organization or multi-regional implementation and/or;
  • Client requirements on project management expectations (project plan, reporting, statuses, etc.) and/or;
  • Multiple Treasury Management or cross business line product implementation and/or;
  • Customization requiring development and/or;
  • Other factors that my surface during course of discovery.
  • Providing a bridge between the sales process and production, assuring that the client's expectations are well understood and fulfilled.
  • Leading internal and external client meetings
  • Documenting client specific product requirements, likely discovered during onsite assessments or process reviews.
  • Identification of previously undiscovered client processing requirements and business needs.
  • Creating and maintaining project plan and any issues associated with project.
  • Initiates, compiles, audits and assembles all project resources and reporting materials for key stakeholders based on agreed upon reporting lines and methods.
  • Providing Client and Internal updates as required.
  • Obtains buy-in from the executive project sponsors of the mission, vision, strategy and approach.
  • Works with business partners to ensure all proper requirements and supporting development deliverables are accounted for and well documented.
  • Evaluates project risk, changes and issues, and provides solutions and process alternatives.
  • Ensures that resources assigned to the project have all the tools and information needed to perform their project tasks.
  • Ensures that the project complies with Project Life Cycle methodology.
  • Plays a lead role in managing and coordinating business projects and provides tactical and strategic input to the project.
  • Monitors issues between projects and resolves project conflict.
  • Performs project audit for projects.
  • Other duties or projects as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Post graduate coursework or Treasury professional designation preferred.
  • Five (5) years Banking Operations experience or related industry experience.
  • Project Management Professional (or equivalent credentials) designation preferred.
  • Proven strong customer service orientation with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and stay focused in a fast paced environment.
  • Self-motivation/initiative as this position is structured to involve self-learning.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a strong leader and in a team environment.
  • Strong client-facing project management experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like.
  • Extended viewing of CRT screen.
  • Overnight travel required.

The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
