Join our Canadian Segment Technology team!
Collaborating with our AVP of Technology and Developer Experience team. Our Senior Technology Strategy & Analytics Specialist will lead analytics process to improve our data-driven decision-making capabilities and align our technology initiatives with strategic technology objectives. Crafting a complete dashboard for the segment’s technology metrics.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop a “single pane of glass” dashboard to consolidate and visualize segment technology critical metrics, facilitating strategic decision-making.
Enhance existing delivery dashboards by incorporating developer metrics to provide a comprehensive view of performance and productivity.
Analyze data trends to generate insights that will inform and prioritize segment technology strategies.
Apply AI tools and solutions within the SDLC to attribute value and optimize processes.
Display a firm understanding of the developer lifecycle, agile practices, and technology workforce dynamics to produce actionable insights and ensure consistency with strategic aims.
Connect data insights with technology objectives to ensure coherence with overarching organizational strategies.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 7 years involved in technology insights, analytics, business intelligence, or related sectors.
Demonstrated ability in SQL, Excel, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis. (Jira, PowerBI, Grafana)
Experience in designing and implementing BI solutions to support decision-making.
Relevant experience working within an agile team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in developing compelling narratives around data to communicate business impact.
Understanding of data governance, modeling, and lifecycle management.
Proactive in finding opportunities for improvement and driving data value realization.
Ability to bridge the gap between data insights and technology objectives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
JIRA, GitHub, ServiceNow, DevOps data, and other security tools.

Salary range is expected to be between
$94,220.00 CAD - $174,980.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location.
