Summary:
The ONESOURCE Technical Partner Enablement (TPE) team is part of the ONESOURCE Product Partnerships group at Thomson Reuters. Their core mission is to onboard and support external partners in integrating TR capabilities into their platforms. The team helps partners build integrations that are light-touch for end customers from a deployment standpoint and scalable across markets. TPE advises partners on technical architecture, provides integration recommendations, and sets our partners up for success. The work this team does is critical to expanding TR’s reach through strategic, technically sound partnerships.
About the role:
As a Technical Project Manager (Lead Technical Partner Enablement Specialist), you are responsible for managing integrations built by various types of partners with systems of different technical architecture into TR’s ONESOURCE suite of solutions. You’ll work closely with internal and external teams to solve partner and customer problems you’d tackle during the end-to-end integration-to-implementation life cycle. Through your leadership, you'll leverage your technical expertise to identify setbacks and roadblocks within a project and generate solutions for resolving them quickly, help build and manage the TPE team, help recruit the best-suited specialists, and evaluate feedback from internal and external teams to improve how we support partners integrating towards TR.
As a Lead Technical Partner Enablement, you will:
Drive and lead advanced, technically oriented discussions and presentations with potential and existing partners, providing strategic insights and thought leadership.
Articulate and consult on API integrations, offering expert guidance to support the technical needs of current and prospective partners.
Deeply analyze partner business models and requirements, proactively identifying opportunities for collaboration and technical enablement.
Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive project plans in conjunction with partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Oversee and manage complex partner implementations from initiation through to successful onboarding, ensuring a seamless transition and ongoing partnership success.
Establish, document, and continuously refine customer onboarding frameworks and routines in collaboration with partners.
Serve as a strategic advisor to partners, driving ongoing product innovation, enhancement, and development initiatives.
Champion the continuous improvement of customer onboarding and support processes, utilizing best practices and industry insights to elevate partner and customer experiences.
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Lead Technical Partner Enablement role if you have the following required qualifications:
Educational background in system integrations, IT Project Management, or a related technology-focused discipline
Proven track record as a driven, ambitious, and independent professional with 10+ years of experience in varied technical roles
Experience and expertise working with both SOAP and REST APIs
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a history of influencing stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams
Extensive experience delivering complex software integration projects, including overseeing implementation from initiation to completion
Ability to strategically assess business needs and requirements while also possessing the depth to analyze intricate technical details
At least 10+ years of relevant professional work experience, demonstrating progressive responsibility and impact
Fluent English skills (speaking and writing) at a professional level
Additional preferred qualifications include:
Experience with REST API based integrations
Experience with Indirect Tax
Experience with e-invoice/order
