Senior Technical Product Manager, AI Platform

This position will be based in Zug, Switzerland.

The AI Platform team has been established to build, develop, and run the Enterprise AI Platform. Thomson Reuters' Enterprise AI Platform serves as a comprehensive ecosystem of collaborative services, tools, and infrastructure, empowering both technical and non-technical users to seamlessly develop, evaluate, deploy and monitor AI solutions tailored to various business use cases and personas. Through prioritizing transparency, reusability of prompts, models and workflows, and swift integration of emerging AI frameworks like Generative AI, the AI Platform strives to redefine the landscape of AI solutions whether for experimentation or for a production environment.

As Senior Technical Product Manager, AI Platform you'll drive the design, delivery, and adoption of the services and features that enable enterprise-scale AI enablement tools in Thomson Reuters. You'll play a critical role in setting the technical direction of AI Platform services, partnering closely with technology partners across different business units and driving adoption of new product functionality. This is a predominantly internally-facing position that would suit a proactive, mission-oriented person that strives to impact business outcomes by aligning and prioritising the needs of different stakeholders.

About the Role

As Senior Technical Product Manager, AI Platform, you will:

  • Create the AI Platform vision and associated roadmaps that aim to enable and expedite the delivery of Gen/AI solutions across the enterprise.

  • Work closely with product, design, UXR, and engineering teams to iteratively collect and review user feedback, refine user requirements, and stay relevant to the latest AI tools and methodologies.

  • Build strong partnerships across the organisation and connect the underlying themes across our AI Platform strategy and global transformation initiatives.

  • Act as a strategic and innovation adviser to the business and moving them towards strategic/enterprise roadmaps and adoption of the AI Platform.

  • Help the AI Platform team to prioritize decisions in support of the defined roadmaps and evolving business requirements informed by the TR Strategy.

  • Ensures stakeholders are aware of the latest AI Platform features via demos, trainings and hackathons.

  • Leading the transition of high level requirements to appropriate delivery teams for execution and initiating/leading cross-functional pilots and experiments on new platform features from design to adoption.

  • Lead the requirements on the direction of the AI Platform features to scale for Gen AI and ensure alignment of defined activities across TR Stakeholder (Product, Product Engineering, Labs).

  • Advice and adapt the AI Platform strategy according to stakeholder feedback.

  • Prepare and socialize the AI strategy including prepare all communications to support O&T and external socialization needs.

About You

You're a fit for the role of Senior Technical Product Manager, AI Platform if your background includes:

  • A bachelor's degree in information technology, data science, computer science, computer engineering (or similar).

  • Demonstrable experience as a member of a technical product development team working on applied AI, including contributing to and driving end-to-end delivery of technical AI capabilities.

  • Experience spearheading technical development in a cross-functional setting, with responsibility for ML applications; close partnership with Data Scientists, R&D groups, UX/UI Design, or similar.

  • A portfolio showcasing significant contributions to technology innovation.

  • Excellent project management, organization and communication skills.

  • Experience contributing to and overseeing large-scale rollouts and infrastructure initiatives.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly to diverse audiences and articulating a compelling strategic vision. 

  • Experience with agile project management and scrum methodologies. 

  • Experience managing technology roadmaps and product portfolios.
