About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist to join our global Talent Acquisition Operations team. This is a key role for a seasoned professional who is passionate about designing and scaling recruiting systems and processes that drive operational excellence and enable our teams to hire world-class talent.

At Fivetran, data drives our decision-making, and the TA Operations team is the foundation that powers how we attract, assess, and hire top talent globally. As a Senior TA Operations Specialist, you’ll act as a strategic problem solver and subject matter expert—leading complex process design, system optimization, audits, and implementations that enhance recruiter productivity, improve candidate and manager experience, and ensure global consistency.

This is a full-time position based out of our Oakland office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and optimize Fivetran’s global recruiting systems, including Greenhouse and related integrations, ensuring scalability, data accuracy, and an exceptional user experience.
  • Design and implement process improvements and frameworks that streamline workflows, enhance quality, and drive global alignment across Talent Acquisition.
  • Lead operational audits to assess recruiting effectiveness, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions that balance efficiency, compliance, and candidate experience.
  • Serve as the go-to subject matter expert for Talent Acquisition tools, processes, and best practices, supporting recruiters, coordinators, and hiring managers through training, documentation, and guidance.
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, People Analytics, and IT teams to align recruiting operations with broader people systems and data strategies.
  • Develop and maintain metrics and dashboards that provide insight into TA performance, operational health, and process adoption.
  • Drive change management initiatives, ensuring stakeholders are aligned, trained, and engaged throughout system or process transitions.
  • Lead strategic projects end-to-end, managing timelines, communications, and deliverables to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes.
  • Advocate for innovation and automation, continuously exploring tools and technologies that make our recruiting process smarter, faster, and more data-driven.
  • Mentor and support peers by sharing best practices and providing operational guidance across the global TA team.

Skills & Experience We’re Looking For

  • 5–7 years of experience in Talent Acquisition Operations, ideally in a fast-paced, global organization.
  • Advanced expertise with ATS platforms (Greenhouse preferred), HRIS systems (Workday), and other recruiting technology tools.
  • Demonstrated success in leading process design, implementation, and change management initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Strong analytical and data fluency, with experience creating and interpreting reports, dashboards, and key performance metrics.
  • Proven ability to influence and lead through collaboration, building credibility as a trusted expert without direct managerial authority.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive initiatives to completion.
  • Clear, confident communicator with exceptional attention to detail and documentation discipline.
  • Passion for efficiency, automation, and continuous improvement, paired with a deep commitment to creating an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience.

The compensation range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire compensation for the target position and level, and may include sales incentives or target bonuses depending on the role.  Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, business need, market demands. Oakland Pay Range
$114,760.80$143,451 USD
