Senior Stock Administrator

SUMMARY/JOB PURPOSE:

The Stock Plan Administrator will administer and manage all aspects of the company’s equity compensation plan including transactions, record keeping, reconciliation and reporting. The Stock Plan Administrator will work cross-functionally with Human Resources, Legal, Accounting, and Tax to ensure timely and accurate equity compensation plan administration.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the administration of the equity compensation plans, consisting primarily of restricted stock units, performance stock units, stock options, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), to ensure timely and accurate execution on a daily basis.
  • Partner closely with Human Resources, Payroll, Legal, Tax, Accounting and Financial Reporting teams; as well as our stock transfer agent and stock administration service provider (E*Trade/Morgan Stanley at Work).
  • Provide a superior level of customer service to employees, executive management and others; support employee understanding of equity awards.
  • Assist with the preparation and process of new awards, vesting, exercises, expirations, terminations, tax withholdings and other plan-related actions.
  • Assist with the semi-annual ESPP offering, including enrollment, settlement of contributions and issuance of shares
  • Maintain accurate and complete plan record keeping using the E*Trade Equity Edge Online (EEO) platform while ensuring ongoing quality control.
  • Coordinate with Legal on insider trading windows
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and reconciliations in the review of equity and transaction data for public reporting, and to support compensation reviews and grant planning.
  • Assist with the analysis and prepare reports as requested by internal teams, including in annual Proxy Report preparation.
  • Ensure SOX compliance with respect to reporting and documentation and maintain supporting documentation for internal and external auditors and respond accurately, thoroughly and timely to requests for data
  • Assist with annual plan audit preparation and coordinate with auditors as needed.
  • Facilitate employee education sessions or communications about retirement planning and plan changes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • No supervisory responsibilities.    

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  •  Certified Equity Professional (CEP) Level 1 is required

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in stock plan administration for a publicly traded company
  • Experience with navigating in EEO or similar platforms

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and customer-focused approach
  • Ability to organize and analyze financial data on a quick turnaround time
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office - Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of insider trading rules
  • Proficiency in Section 16 filings (Forms 3, 4 and 5) a plus but not required
  • Experience with U.S. federal and state taxation relating to equity compensation

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

This position will require to 5% of travel time.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The base pay range for this position is $131,000 - $186,000 annually. The base pay range may take into account the candidate’s geographic region, which will adjust the pay depending on the specific work location. The base pay offered will take into account the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity, among other factors.
