Position Summary...

What you'll do...

The Senior Specialist, Skilled Facilities Maintenance, is responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities and equipment. This role involves diagnosing issues, overseeing repair projects, managing maintenance schedules, and coordinating with contractors and suppliers. The position requires adherence to regulatory standards and company policies while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The specialist also provides guidance and training to associates, ensuring quality workmanship and operational efficiency. Location: This position will be fully onsite in Bentonville, AR Schedule: 7:30am to 4pm, on-call rotation (hours may vary)

We manage a variety of equipment and systems, including switchgear, lighting, and Building Management Automated Systems. By utilizing data and collaborating with associates, we effectively resolve issues and establish standard practices for preventive maintenance. The team emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to established guidelines while continuously improving processes to ensure reliable facility operations and a well-maintained environment.
What you'll do:
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities equipment and fixtures.
  • Inspect, clean, and repair equipment, documenting wear and recommending repairs or replacements.
  • Conduct major and minor electrical repairs
  • Oversee junior associates, assign duties, and provide onsite training to ensure quality and safety compliance.
  • Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, parts inventory, and contractor performance.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, building codes, and company policies.
  • Develop relationships with suppliers and contractors to support operational needs.

What you'll bring:
  • Arkansas Journeyman Electrical License
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and compliance with OSHA and EPA standards.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing electrical systems and performing electrical wiring and equipment repairs.
  • Ability to manage inventory, order parts, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment for facility repairs.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and team members.
  • Experience supervising and mentoring associates to ensure quality and safety standards.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Arkansas Journeyman's License
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • 2 years’ experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 - $45.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Vocational or Technical certification and 7 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or
related trade or 9 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.
Valid Driver's License.
