Senior Specialist Infrastructure Systems Engineer

So, what’s the role all about?

We are seeking a Senior Microsoft & Office 365 Engineer with extensive expertise in administering and optimizing Microsoft 365 environments, combined with strong working knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud platforms. While the primary focus is on Microsoft technologies, security-oriented experience will be considered a strong advantage. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing complex enterprise Microsoft environments, delivering reliable cloud solutions, and providing expert technical leadership.

How will you make an impact?

• Administer and manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and Defender for Office 365.
• Design, configure, and maintain Azure and AWS infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Microsoft platform and cloud service issues.
• Manage Microsoft tenant configurations, licensing, and integrations.
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and infrastructure automation tools.
• Design, implement, and manage automation workflows using tools such as Terraform, Azure DevOps, Ansible, or CloudFormation to streamline deployments and configuration management.
• Ensure service availability, performance optimization, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to design secure, scalable Microsoft and cloud solutions.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and runbooks.

Have you got what it takes?

• 12+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration and engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Azure and working knowledge of AWS cloud services.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Hands-on experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Azure DevOps, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical initiatives.

 

Optional Qualifications

• Security-oriented experience, including Microsoft 365 and cloud security hardening.
• Familiarity with IAM, encryption, compliance frameworks, and vulnerability management.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools for Microsoft and cloud environments.
• Linux administration skills, including basic troubleshooting and system management.
• Relevant Microsoft or cloud certifications (e.g., MS-100, MS-101, AZ-104, AWS Solutions Architect Associate).
