The Position
The Senior Specialist is responsible for supporting the HCP Fair Market Value (FMV) Tiering process in alignment with global enterprise governance. This includes reviewing Healthcare Professional (HCP) credentials and experience (e.g. CVs, publications, academic and professional background) against predefined tiering criteria to determine appropriate FMV levels for consulting and advisory engagements.
The role also supports the broader HCP consulting and advisory engagement processes for activities originating the US headquarters as well as Ex-US (as required) within Global Medical Affairs and Commercial.
This role reports into the Director of the Healthcare Enablement Resources (HER) team.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the process and operational lead for HCP Tiering, applying approved criteria to evaluate HCP credentials and assign appropriate FMV tiers.
Maintain documentation and audit trail supporting each tiering decision, ensuring consistency and defensibility across all engagements.
Partner with Compliance and FMV governance teams to update tiering criteria as needed based on market trends or therapeutic area complexity.
Support Engagement Owners with HCP contracting and advisory contracting activities, including nominations, FMV validation, and contracting logistics.
Contribute to FMV policy alignment and harmonization across Global and U.S. processes.
Provide process and system subject-matter expertise related to HCP consulting engagements, ensuring compliance with both U.S. and global requirements.
Partner with internal stakeholders (Commercial, Medical, Compliance, Legal) to ensure alignment and efficiency in operational workflows.
Support spend reconciliation and contribute to transparency reporting and compliance metrics.
Identify and recommend process improvements, simplification opportunities, and best practices across HCP engagement operations.

Qualifications :
Demonstrates accountability, ownership, and operational excellence.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess HCP qualifications and apply predefined criteria objectively.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage documentation for audit readiness.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; able to partner effectively across business and compliance functions.
Knowledge of Veeva, Concur, and HCP contracting systems/processes is highly preferred.
Commitment to innovation, process improvement, and continuous learning.
5–7 years of biopharmaceutical experience, with at least 3 years in HCP engagement management, FMV operations, or compliance-related functions.
Experience supporting or leading FMV tiering, consulting, or contracting activities.
Prior exposure to compliance, operations, or business partnering roles within Medical Affairs or Commercial.
Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in a scientific, business, or applied discipline strongly preferred.
Advanced degree (e.g., MS, MBA) a plus.
