We are looking for a highly skilled & motivated Sourcing Specialist to join our Global Procurement Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Gurugram. This position offers an exciting opportunity for the selected candidate to lead sourcing projects independently and bring value to the organization within Operations spend category. The Sourcing Specialist will also drive continuous improvements as well as help streamlining the ways of working across the global, while always collaborating with global stakeholders in a dynamic, data-driven environment.
This role needs to be detail-oriented and proactive to oversee and ensure adherence to procurement policies and business metrics within our Fuel & Retail operations. The ideal candidate shall have a strong background in sourcing & procurement processes, Excellence frameworks, and risk management, ensuring that all purchasing activities align with company standards and industry regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform category spend analytics to identify sourcing opportunities, develop scope of work & overall RFP package, and shortlist suppliers suitable for the SOW (including existing and new suppliers)
Conduct market analysis, Identify and mitigate basic supply chain risks while ensuring business continuity.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Operations-related spend categories (e.g., logistics, utilities, MRO).
Lead end-to-end RFP/RFI processes, vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance management.
Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and service improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business Stakeholders, Operations & end-users, Finance, Legal, etc.) to align sourcing initiatives with business goals.
Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and SLAs; drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Maintain compliance with procurement policies & external regulatory requirements for managed suppliers/sub-categories.
Leverage data analytics and procurement tools to support decision-making and reporting.
Drive ESG and sustainability goals (wherever applicable) through supplier engagement and responsible sourcing practices.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
7–8 years of strategic sourcing experience, with a strong focus on Operations & logisiics spend categories.
Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
Familiarity with e-sourcing platforms (e.g. Ariba, Coupa) and procurement analytics tools (e.g. Power-BI)
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Professional procurement certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plus.
