About the Job:
The Red Hat Partner Ecosystem Success team is seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to join our team influencing the growth and development of Red Hat’s Certified Cloud Service Provider (CCSP) business across our Mediterranean and Middle East/Africa regions. The role is preferably based in Italy or Spain.
In this role, you will be a technical sales lead managing and developing a set of strategic CCSP partners. Your primary mission will be to support new and existing CCSP partners to identify how Red Hat’s cloud portfolio aligns with their technical and business objectives and, from there, to progress from the solution proposal and evaluation stage to its adoption as the preferred platform choice for their cloud business (we call this the ‘Technical Win’). To get there you’ll need to be able to quickly identify our partner’s business and technical challenges, propose a technical solutions architecture that effectively addresses these, and be capable of providing proof points including demos, PoCs and references, where needed.
As a Senior Ecosystem Solution Architect, you will collaborate closely with Red Hat and partner Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to influence and accelerate the adoption of our leading-edge open source Red Hat Infrastructure, Cloud, and Middleware technology. You will coordinate the efforts of other Red Hat technical staff to design solutions and ensure customer adoption and satisfaction, playing a key role in shaping our partners’ first experience with Red Hat. Combining your passion for open source with both technical expertise and business acumen, you’ll act as a trusted advisor who drives innovation and long-term partnership success.
What You Will Do:
Gain an in-depth understanding of our CCSP partners’ and joint customers’ business and technical objectives and IT environments
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to assess the potential application of Red Hat and Partner solutions to create and deploy technical account plans with CCSP partners that are aligned to our strategy
Demonstrate Red Hat's value proposition, across our portfolio, to key partner executives, sales, and technical teams to identify and create valuable and sustainable partnerships.
Collaborate with CCSP partners to create new solutions and offerings that incorporate Red Hat technology
Facilitate engineering and presales co-creation with the CCSP partner ecosystem through presentations, demonstration, workshops and pilot projects
Perform regular reviews and reports about the opportunities your assigned CCSP partners are working on
Coordinate the technical efforts of other Red Hat resources, i.e. product specialists, Support and Professional Services
Share your expertise by contributing to the wider CCSP Red Hat ecosystem - documentation (e.g., reference architectures, wikis, quick-start guides, blog posts, and white papers), developing reusable assets (e.g., demonstrations, workshops), and presenting at conferences
Serve as a Red Hat product knowledge source for your CCSP partners
Willingness to travel within the MED/MEA region - approx 30% of the time
What You Will Bring:
Presales, consulting, IT architecture, or equivalent experience, in support of enterprise accounts
Experience with modern and emerging technologies, including public and private cloud, container orchestration and management, automation and configuration management, DevSecOps and CI/CD, and modern application frameworks
