Role Overview:

Hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Test, to join our Engineering organization. You will be responsible to drive Business Unit wide Quality initiatives, Automation effort, run compliance framework and be a key member of Secure Software Life Cycle implementation team.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and end-to-end test suites using Python, including libraries like Pandas for data validation and transformation.

  • Build and integrate these automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ensuring streamlined and repeatable deployments.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to manage test environments—especially cloud-based infrastructure on AWS.
  • Execute and interpret security scans using tools like Black Duck Hub to identify vulnerabilities and maintain code compliance.
  • Work closely with GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) frameworks to incorporate regulatory and security requirements into testing protocols.
  • Analyze test results, triage issues, and coordinate with development teams to swiftly resolve defects.
  • Experience in using Pandas to process large test data sets.
  • Collaborate in code reviews and enforce best practices regarding quality, reliability, and security.
  • Assist in refining and advancing the organization’s testing strategy and infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Python programming for test automation, with proficiency in Pandas for data processing.
  • Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals: unit, integration, regression, and system-level testing.
  • Experience working with Jenkins to manage CI/CD workflows effectively.
  • Exposure to AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS) to support test environments.
  • Familiarity with GRC principles and supporting risk and compliance checks within test workflows. Exposure to SAST, IAST DAST practices
  • Practical experience with security scanning tools, particularly Black Duck Hub, Sonar Qube, Wiz to enforce security and licensing compliance.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications

  • Familiarity with additional testing frameworks like Pytest, Behave, Selenium
  • Hands-on knowledge of DevSecOps, including integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
  • AWS Certifications or equivalent.
