As a Senior Software Engineer (T4), you will play a key role in designing, building, and scaling next-generation RDT solutions that deliver resilience, observability, and seamless warehouse execution globally.
You will work across cross-functional teams, partner with product and operations stakeholders, and bring strong engineering rigor to ensure modernization success without disrupting existing business operations.
Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot for microservices development.
Hands-on experience with SQL Server (Stored Procedures) and modernization/migration to service-oriented architecture.
Knowledge of Azure Cloud services (App Services, AKS, Event Grid, Functions, Database Replication, Monitoring).
Experience designing RESTful APIs and event-driven patterns (Kafka, Service Bus, etc.).
Proficiency in CI/CD, DevOps, observability, and automated testing.
Understanding of distributed system principles: RTO/RPO, failover, read-scale replication.
Strong problem-solving ability with resilience in ambiguous situations.
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-team communication.
Mentorship skills – ability to grow and guide junior team members.
Pragmatic, business-value-oriented decision making.
Key Responsibilities
Design event-driven, microservices-based systems that are fault-tolerant and scalable.
Ensure robust observability: logging, metrics, and alerting embedded by design.
Create and review API contracts, data models, and migration strategies from stored procedures to distributed services.
Implement best practices in performance optimization, database replication, and read-scale strategies.
Own end-to-end technical delivery for modernization epics, ensuring smooth integration with WMS modules (Inbound, Outbound, Inventory, RDT).
Proactively identify technical debt, risks, and opportunities for improvement in the RDT ecosystem.
Lead root cause analysis for production issues (SEVs) and champion proactive, self-healing solutions.
Collaborate with global teams (China, Malaysia, India) to ensure business continuity during rollouts.
