Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior C++ Developer with 6-9 years of professional experience to join our team. You will be a key player in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, secure, and robust software solutions. This role requires not only strong technical skills but also a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks throughout the software development lifecycle.
About the role :
Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform applications using C++ with a focus on high performance and reliability.
Utilize C++11 and later standards to write clean, efficient, and modern code.
Design and implement professional software installers using InstallShield to ensure seamless and secure product deployment.
Integrate security protocols and best practices into the software architecture and development process.
Conduct code reviews and perform rigorous debugging and testing to ensure the highest quality and security standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver innovative solutions.
Manage source code and projects using Git and Jira.
Utilize development environments such as Microsoft Visual Studio and Eclipse for day-to-day work.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's technical growth and knowledge sharing.
About you :
6+ years of professional experience in C++ development.
Expertise in modern C++ (C++11, STL), including deep knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
Hands-on experience with InstallShield for creating software installers.
Strong understanding of security principles, including cryptography, secure coding practices, and vulnerability analysis.
Proficiency with various operating systems, including Windows and Linux.
Extensive experience with version control systems, specifically Git, and project management tools like Jira.
Familiarity with IDEs such as Microsoft Visual Studio and Eclipse.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
Certification in C/C++ or other relevant fields.
Experience in cyber security/email security
Knowledge of network security protocols.
Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment
