Role Overview:
Trellix Data Loss Prevention offers universal data protection across endpoints, networks, and the cloud. The open platform, Trellix ePO software, makes it simple to enable device-to-cloud DLP. Trellix DLP customers can easily extend current enterprise DLP policies to the cloud and leverage common policies to ensure consistent data loss detection. A single-pane-of-glass management console manages all DLP violations and incident workflows, regardless of the DLP violations coming from corporate devices or cloud applications. With more data being created and sent to the cloud every day, it is more important than ever to have a set of consistent DLP policies that protect data from any leakage vectors-whether it's corporate endpoints, unmanaged devices, on the network, or even in cloud applications.As a Senior SDET you will be working in data security products Server side components functional, performance, APIs testing and automation.
About the role :
Work collaboratively with multiple global teams/engineers, and be willing to take on any engineering tasks that contribute to progress towards the goals of the team and of the company
Constantly look for ways to improve, taking initiatives, engaging, and driving technical discussions on continuous improvements in the test area, proposal to the leadership team on continuous improvement towards value addition to the ecosystem.
Demonstrate the ability to make informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessment
Collaboration during Engineering story refinement to advocate for artifacts that provide for proper hooks/telemetry into test execution (setup/activate/analyze)
Requirements analysis and test effort estimations
Representing the value of the tests being performed by maintaining mappings of feature coverage, escaped defects, cost of execution, reliability of execution
Analyze, design, implement the automated test systems (test cases, system under test) , optimize your own code and review the team members code.
Work with engineers/IT team to troubleshoot and remediate automation & infrastructure issues in testing and deploying environments.
Mentoring/grooming junior test engineers
About you :
6-10 years of professional experience in Software testing & automation
4+ Years of Experience in Cloud Services , AWS Services , Cloud deployments , Kafka , Kubernets , kibana logs, Docker/Containers.
4+ Experience in programming scripting in python , jsp,java, shell scripting ,
Hands-on experience in using version control systems such as Git and a solid understanding of Git workflow
Product Testing Experience in Data Protection/Data Loss Prevention/One DLP/Endpoint Security Server side components mainly Policy Management , Incident management , Evidence store , evidence purge.
API testing , API performance testing ,load testing , event processing & performance testing , postman , JMeter, JSON . SQL , SQLLite , PSQL , dynamoDB.
Experience in Windows/Linux OS based server side components/application testing. Debugging in Windows/Linux , AWS environment.
Highly adept at mapping acceptance criteria to verification by test cases
Can demonstrate strategies that measure test effectiveness in support of continuous improvement
In-depth understanding of the various testing concepts (e.g. Enterprise, Functional, Usability, Availability, Performance)
Very comfortable with Jira, Git, Python IDE, nose test, pytest, Unit test frameworks, Agile
