Service Business Line / South America Sales & Services / Site and Service Sales Andes

Our Site and Service Sales Andes team connects global innovation with local execution. We partner closely with major mining operations across the Andean region, ensuring operational reliability, productivity, and sustainable growth. From site-based support to strategic account development, our teams ensure that FLS remains the partner of choice for mining customers in South America.

As Senior Site Account Manager – Arequipa, you will be the face of FLS at key mining sites such as Antapaccay and Hudbay. You’ll lead the relationship, drive business growth, and ensure customer satisfaction through technical expertise, collaboration, and commercial excellence.

This is a pivotal role that combines sales leadership, customer engagement, and business development — ensuring that every FLS solution delivered adds measurable value to our customer’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the customer relationship and represent all FLS activities on-site.

  • Develop and execute short to medium-term sales and account strategies to grow order intake.

  • Identify opportunities to increase “share of wallet” by expanding the FLS product and service footprint.

  • Collaborate with Solution Specialists to promote consumables and service offerings.

  • Work closely with Field Service Engineers and Professional Services teams to deliver top-quality support.

  • Monitor customer satisfaction and drive initiatives to continuously improve experience and loyalty.

  • Provide commercial insights and market feedback to regional and global business lines.

  • Mentor and support Site Account Managers and Representatives to enhance overall team performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Mining) or Business Administration.

  • 5+ years of experience in mining sales or key account management, ideally with major mining clients.

  • Strong understanding of FLS’s product portfolio, site operations, and customer needs.

  • Proven record of sales growth, account planning, and customer relationship management.

  • Excellent financial acumen, analytical, and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Dynamics, Salesforce).

  • Fluent in Spanish, with intermediate English communication skills.

  • Willingness to travel regularly to mining sites across southern Peru.
