Senior Sales Trainer

You are a master facilitator and dynamic educator whose primary mission is to ensure the USIS Sales force is fluent and confident in product knowledge, market messaging, and sales tools and processes. You will lead the delivery of high-stakes training programs, directly impacting the speed and proficiency of new hires and the continued excellence of experienced sellers.

What you'll do

  • Lead Program Delivery: Expertly design and deliver highly engaging, in-person, and virtual instructor-led training (VILT) sessions for the USIS Sales team.

  • Methodology Reinforcement: Support and integrate our established sales methodology into product and tools training. You will ensure content reinforces these frameworks but will not serve as the primary foundational facilitator of the methodology training itself.

  • Support Other Functional Areas: As needed, develop and deliver foundational training for non-sales teams (e.g., Product, Finance, and Technology) for the broader USIS University.

  • Content Curation and Preparation: Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Product, Marketing, Sales, HR, and Sales Operations & Enablement to consult, curate, and prepare content for timely and high-quality training delivery across all supported teams.

What experience you need

  • Experience: 7+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience in Sales Training, Group Facilitation, and Program Delivery for a large, professional organization.

  • Methodology Familiarity: Demonstrated familiarity with key sales methodologies (e.g., Sprint Selling, MEDDPICC, Challenger, ) and proven ability to integrate these concepts into product, process, and tools training.

  • Facilitation Mastery: Demonstrated mastery of facilitation techniques with the ability to lead high-energy sessions, manage group dynamics, and maintain engagement across diverse audience levels.

  • Collaboration: Proven ability to flex training style and content to effectively support both sales audiences and other functional audiences, and collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., L&D, Product, Sales Ops).

  • Technical Fluency: Proficiency in utilizing virtual training and meeting platforms (e.g., Google Meet, Zoom, WebEx) and Learning Management Systems (e.g., Workday Learning, SAP SuccessFactors, Cornerstone LMS) for program tracking and delivery.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

What could set you apart

  • Sales Background: Experience in a direct quota-carrying sales role, specifically within the financial services, data, or technology industry.

  • Certification: Certification in Training/facilitation and/or Instructional Design (e.g., CPTD).

  • Platform Knowledge: Direct, hands-on experience training on Salesforce (CRM) or using sales engagement platforms as a training tool.

  • Corporate Structure: Previous experience operating within a centralized HR L&D structure while supporting a dedicated business unit.

  • Expertise in Sprint Selling: Certification, deep functional knowledge, and/or experience in applying the Sprint Selling methodology.

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong functional knowledge of the financial services, data, or technology industry.
