Position Summary

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific's commercial team as the Senior Sales Manager Bioproduction, Emerging Markets. Lead a team of channel managers and commercial specialists in the Middle East, Africa, and South-East/Eastern Europe, driving growth and demand for our bioprocessing solutions.

Role Responsibilities

  • Build balanced relationships and develop strong partnerships with sales channels, customers, influential KOLs, and other regional sales teams.
  • Supervise, support, and develop a commercial team of Channel Managers and Sales Specialists to reach business and strategic objectives that are competitive from both industry and regional standpoints.
  • Manage the Channel Partner network across territories, applying appropriate channel management tools to enable their success and accountability.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive regional business plans crafted to support both channel partners and their customers, while meeting commercial expectations.
  • Partner with other members of the leadership team to formulate cross-functional strategies for accelerated growth.
  • Guarantee the efficient utilization of advanced sales tools and strategies by your team to surpass critical metrics and sales targets.
  • Maintain a healthy sales funnel and provide regular, accurate revenue forecasts.
  • Participate in regular business reviews to share regional status and identify where support is needed to meet goals and objectives.
  • Cooperate within the regional leadership team to reach growth targets and assist in advancing corporate initiatives for further regional growth.
  • Take on increased strategic and operational responsibilities to drive the overall success of the sales organization.

Minimum Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field required; advanced degree (Masters/PhD) is preferred.
  • At least 7 years of professional background in the bioprocess sector or a similar industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in senior sales leadership with channel management responsibility.
  • Experience in managing collaborators in a matrixed environment on a regional and global basis.
  • Proven track record of complex, high-value opportunity closure via strategic sales opportunity management.
  • Proficient leadership skills to guide through illustration, encourage individuals, and foster teams.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the capacity to collaborate successfully across all hierarchies and exert impact within the company.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English.

Travel Requirements

Customer and channel facing activities, including overnight travel in the region will represent between 50-60 % of your working time. Occasional travel to Europe and US is required.
