The Role
You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of SCADA/EMS/GMS/ADMS projects globally using AspenTech’s monarch platform, including planning / design / integration / testing /training/ and commissioning at site. A good understanding of utility use-cases (Electricity / Gas / Water / Renewables) is preferred.
Your Impact
- Design, plan, integrate, test, and commission hardware and software requirements on customer systems.
 - Evaluate contract specifications and define project requirements through customer communication and communicate the requirements to other departments as necessary.
 - Ownership of technical delivery of projects end-end, including configuring the Digital Grid Management software as per customer specifications, and delegating other aspects such as hardware and networking to appropriate teams.
 - Conduct unit testing – FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing), and other tests as applicable to deliver project to satisfaction of customer.
 - Provide customer support and assistance as per contract maintenance and warranty.
 - Assist in creating training materials and project documentation as needed.
 - Balance customer expectations with project scope.
 
What You'll Need
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in SCADA/EMS/ADMS system testing and commissioning for bulk utility control systems.
 - Hands-on knowledge on utility control systems, preferably on control center decision support softwares such as SCADA / EMS / GMS / ADMS / DERMS.
 - Experience in Database structures (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Mongo, Cassandra). Experience working with Enterprise Historians such as OSISoft PI, CHRONUS, EDNA, and the like is highly desirable.
 - Experience with common utility protocols (IEC, ICCP, DNP, IEC, Multispeak)
 - Familiarity with project lifecycle, and test processes such as FAT, SAT, and unit-level testing.
 - Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues in real-time systems.
 - Ability to work with technical documentation, logs, and configuration files.
 - Experience with related systems such as Traction SCADA systems, Substation automation systems, or enterprise level decision support systems such as GE Eterra, ABB network manager, Siemens Spectrum Power and the like is good to have.
 - Exposure to scripting (Python, shell) and configuration management tools.
 - Excellent Customer Management Skills
 
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Instrumentation engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related technical field (required).

Other requirements:
- Location preference – Bengaluru, India
 - Ability and flexibility to travel to domestic and international customer sites (less than 25% travel per year).
