We are looking for a

Senior Program Manager, Workforce Planning

to drive our enterprise-wide Workforce Planning initiative.

To align with KONE’s ‘Rise to Lead’ strategy and enable its success, we have recently launched the People & Communications (P&C) Direction 2025–2030. One of the key priorities under this direction is to build the right people capabilities and skills to support business growth and profitability.

This role is a great opportunity for you to utilize your experience and to drive one of the key strategic initiatives.

This role reports to the Senior Vice President People & Communication, Global Functions & Organizational Effectiveness.

The preferred location of the position is Espoo, Finland or one of KONE main Frontline offices.

Responsibilities and key activities:

  • Holistic program mgmt. for KONE-wide Workforce Planning initiative targeted at building a seamless, integrated capability and working practice to match demand & supply of talent for better business decision-making

  • Gathering internal and external insights of what good looks like and being able to define what good looks like in 2030 with the team

  • Specifying, agreeing and leading a few internal pilots to gather insights and learn, delivering best practices and identifying gaps for the next phases of the program

  • Concepting Workforce Planning journey for KONE including dependencies, roles, KPIs and other relevant leavers

  • Building a clear program structure with phasing, sub-project definitions, resourcing, governance etc. and holistically running the program by ensuring the agreed deliverables 2026-2030

  • Actively communicating with business stakeholders, Finance, People & Communications and other relevant parties to co-create joined understanding and commitment

  • Collaborating through the existing operational organization to create a sustainable and scalable model for workforce planning at KONE.

Required skills and competences:

  • Demonstrated track record of program management in a global, multi-country environment

  • Unit HR or relevant experience of understanding different HR expertise areas and people domains, including talent acquisition, learning & development and succession planning

  • Ability to create change stories in fluent English and being able to communicate with engaged and simple messaging

  • Holistic understanding of corporate processes of sales & ops. planning, sales, supply chain, finance and HR

  • Analytical and strategic thinking to interpret data and to build scenarios based on the data

  • Courage to think beyond what is with multiple AI options in the future

  • Proficiency in workforce analytics and technologies, including AI driven solutions

  • Curiosity and a growth mindset to navigate the KONE landscape

  • Business acumen to be able to align workforce planning with business goals

  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills to enable impact.
