Why we're hiring:

We seek a Senior Product Owner to drive agile delivery for WPP Open Production, our AI-powered marketing production platform. You'll translate product vision into actionable deliverables, collaborating with engineers, designers, and data scientists to bring AI-driven marketing solutions to life.

 

What you'll be doing:

Reporting to the Chief Product & AI Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Lead end-to-end agile delivery of specific features/epics within the Production Studio roadmap, collaborating with delivery and engineering.
  • Partner with engineering throughout the product lifecycle, removing roadblocks and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with Product Leadership to translate overall product vision/strategy into detailed, executable plans.
  • Define, write, and refine detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for features, aligning with product vision.
  • Manage and maintain a prioritised product backlog, reflecting strategy, stakeholder feedback, and development capacity.
  • Conduct market and customer analysis for features to inform requirements and ensure user value.
  • Stay abreast of emerging AI/ML and marketing technology trends to inform feature development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, production) to define epics and user stories.
  • Validate, prioritise, and integrate new product requests into the backlog, ensuring alignment.
  • Lead validation and design of new product ideas at the feature level.
  • Align feature roadmaps and manage dependencies with other product teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the development team, providing clarity on requirements.

 

What you'll need:

  • Experience as a Product Owner, focused on agile delivery for SaaS platforms.
  • Proven ability to translate product strategy into actionable backlogs and lead agile development teams.
  • Understanding of AI/ML and marketing technology trends, particularly for feature development.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills; experience in user research and competitive analysis at the feature level.
  • Expertise in backlog management, writing user stories, and prioritisation.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements.
  • Certified Agile Product Owner or equivalent practical experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Passion for innovation and driving cutting-edge marketing solutions.
