About the role

Our growing team is looking for a Product Owner - Applications Security.

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Product Manager to join our applications security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the evolution of our application security tools and services.

You will be tasked with designing and implementing a strategic vision aimed at automating and improving our security pipeline.

You will work closely with development and engineering teams to integrate innovative solutions that enhance our security and optimize our efficiency.  An in-depth knowledge of security tools like SAST, DAST, SCA, SBOM, secret scanning, as well as expertise in building CI/CD pipelines is essential.

The candidate must also work effectively with a team of engineers and be able to clearly communicate requirements while understanding the development phases.

What you'll do here:

  • Develop and execute a product roadmap for applications security tools and services.

  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for enhancing existing security products, with a particular focus on automation using SAST (Static Application Security Testing), DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing), SCA (Software Composition Analysis), SBOM (Software Bill of Materials), secret scanning, and implementing CI/CD pipelines.

  • Design and advocate innovative solutions to strengthen application security and minimize manual interventions, while integrating the latest automated security technologies.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define priorities.

  • Identify and integrate automation solutions to improve the security pipeline.

  • Monitor industry trends and adopt innovations that strengthen our market position.

 

What you bring to the table:

  • At least five years of experience in information technology.

  • Proven experience in product management, ideally in the application security domain.

  • In-depth knowledge of software security principles and experience with tools such as SAST, DAST, SCA, SBOM, secret scanning, and building CI/CD pipelines.

  • Proven experience in product management, ideally in the application security domain.

  • Ability to develop long-term strategies aligned with organizational goals.

  • Experience in developing pipelines.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Strong results orientation and ability to innovate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country. 

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
