About GrowthBook

GrowthBook is the leader in open-source feature management, experimentation, and product analytics, with over 2,600 active customers worldwide.

Companies like Dropbox, Sony, Pepsi, Khan Academy, and the LA Times rely on GrowthBook to safely ship features, run A/B tests, and measure product impact — all using their own data infrastructure.

We’re in a period of hyper-growth, expanding at more than 100% year over year, driven by open-source adoption. GrowthBook’s momentum has come from developers and data teams discovering, implementing, and championing the platform within their organizations. As we scale our sales and marketing efforts, this is an incredible opportunity to help shape our story, amplify our reach, and accelerate our next phase of growth.

Our mission is to make experimentation an everyday superpower for every team. By combining the flexibility of open source with enterprise-grade performance, GrowthBook helps organizations move faster, make smarter decisions, and deliver better products to their users.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to help shape and communicate the GrowthBook story.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone passionate about deeply technical products and developer-first audiences. You’ll lead product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy across our platform — helping drive adoption among engineering, data, and product teams globally.

You’ll collaborate closely with our founders, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to translate innovation into clear, compelling value for customers — and strengthen GrowthBook’s position as the open-source alternative to closed, black-box experimentation platforms.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead product positioning and messaging — develop and evolve how GrowthBook’s value is articulated across feature management, experimentation, and analytics.
  • Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for new features, SDKs, and platform enhancements across both open-source and enterprise offerings.
  • Create sales and marketing enablement materials — decks, one-pagers, case studies, and competitive guides — to support revenue and retention goals.
  • Collaborate with founders and engineers to understand new capabilities, gather customer insights, and craft narratives that connect technical depth to business outcomes.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and guide messaging, packaging, and campaign focus.
  • Develop customer-centric content (case studies, webinars, blog posts, community stories) that demonstrate measurable product impact.
  • Partner with sales and marketing to drive adoption, activation, and expansion across our growing customer base.
  • Measure impact — track launch performance, usage growth, and engagement metrics to refine GTM execution.

About You

  • 3+ years of product marketing experience at a developer-focused cloud or software company (e.g., platform, API, analytics, or infrastructure tools).
  • Deep understanding of developer and data team workflows and how to communicate technical value clearly.
  • Proven ability to lead product positioning and launches in collaboration with founders and engineering leaders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator; clear, structured, and creative storyteller.
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, engineering-led environment with minimal bureaucracy.
  • Analytical thinker who uses data to inform decisions and demonstrate impact.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in feature flagging, experimentation, or analytics platforms (LaunchDarkly, Statsig, Eppo, Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc.).
  • Familiarity with open-source ecosystems and developer-driven adoption models.
  • Strong writing skills (technical blogs, release notes, product copy).
  • Interest in AI-driven experimentation and warehouse-native analytics.

Why Join GrowthBook

  • Hyper-growth & momentum: GrowthBook is expanding at more than 100% year over year, powered by open-source adoption and developer advocacy.
  • Proven traction, massive upside: With 2,600+ active customers and minimal traditional marketing investment, the potential for impact is enormous.
  • Impact & visibility: Collaborate directly with founders and engineering leaders to shape how we go to market.
  • Remote-first: Work from anywhere; collaborate asynchronously with a global team.

Inclusive culture:  we believe in transparency, collaboration, and empowering diverse voices to shape the future of experimentation. Great ideas can come from anywhere, and everyone has the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
