About the team

Imagine helping over 180 million people each month shop on Zillow. The Shopping Product team helps customers dream, shop, and transact on their next home. We work with designers, engineers, data scientists, and researchers to build Zillow’s core experience. We plan, prioritize, advocate, and lead. Our goal is to transform real estate shopping by delivering a seamless connected end-to-end solution for buyers, sellers, and agents to transact with Zillow.

About the role

As a Product Manager on Shopping, you’ll own the core listing experience that helps customers explore homes, compare options, make tradeoffs, and decide what to tour next. You’ll lead discovery and delivery for high-visibility features, using experimentation and sharp product thinking to ship experiences that are lovable, reliable, and measurably effective. You will be responsible for the core listing experience and helping millions of customers each day.

This role will

  • Define strategy and roadmap for the listing experience (detail pages, comparisons, saved homes, maps, filters), aligned to business goals and customer outcomes.

  • Drive discovery with UX Research and Data Science to deeply understand customer needs, identify friction, and translate insights into clear product bets and hypotheses.

  • Lead execution end-to-end—from product requirements (PRDs) and success metrics to design reviews, engineering tradeoffs, QA, launch, and post-launch iteration.

  • Raise the experimentation bar by crafting testable hypotheses, selecting metrics, partnering on experiment design, and scaling wins.

  • Collaborate and communicate the “why, what, and how” to partners and leaders—adapting content to the right level of breadth and depth for each audience.

  • Inform strategy with the market—monitor competitors, evolving customer expectations, and technical approaches to stay ahead.

  • Harness AI and GenAI to deliver next-generation, personalized shopping experiences—defining high-impact use cases.
