Senior Product Manager

Your team

The Business Platforms Crew, part of Group Corporate Services, is responsible for the product management, delivery execution and business facing support of Supplier Risk, Procurement, and Property Applications.

We work closely with the Group Corporate Services teams, Business Unit risk teams, Technology and IT Vendors to satisfy the needs of business units within CBA and subsidiary companies nationally and internationally.

This role will be part of the Business Platform Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) Chapter.

About the role

As a Product Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining and refining our customer propositions through deep insights into customer needs, market trends, and performance drivers and bringing a customer-obsessed mindset to designing and delivering products.

You will work with a Product Owner and cross functional squads to deliver set sprint outcomes, and drive customer and business outcomes through a deep understanding of performance drivers such as customer experience and market conditions.

The role will have a focus on CBA’s building access technology and property & environmental platforms system with the focus on streamlining BAU operational processes, and defining and building out new features and enhancements to ensure CBA stays leading edge in workplace experience and property technology.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Working with the Product Owner to define the vision and product roadmap.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to align on strategy and deliver customer-first solutions.
• Lead technical discussions with vendors, solution architects and developers.
• Monitor the performance of the products and lead the implementation of improvements with a mindset of customer obsession.
• Work closely with stakeholders and change management to identify impacts to business processes because of system or application changes.
• Evaluate effectiveness of crew tools, processes, and methodologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement and optimize processes and operations.

What we are looking for

• Must have high level of expertise working with bespoke property and building access applications such as HID SAFE, Gallagher Command Centre, Vecos Smart Lockers, Manhattan etc.
• Proven experience in agile delivery, backlog prioritisation, and roadmap management to drive clarity, alignment, and momentum across cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated strength in translating strategy into action and driving measurable outcomes across key initiatives.
• Strong capability in cultivating strategic partnerships and influencing stakeholders to achieve business goals.
• Expertise in API solutions (REST API, Graph API), Advance Messaging Queuing Protocol, SDLC, IT Infrastructure and mobile application development lifecycle within the Financial Services industry is highly preferred.
• Previous background in banking or financial services is highly regarded.
