Permanent  

Full time – 37.5 hours per week

£59k - £75k DOE

The Senior Product Content Manager will lead the product content engagement strategy across all customer segments to promote product awareness and adoption. The role holder will lead a team to develop and implement engagement initiatives and campaigns to promote product development activity to new and existing customers, brokers, colleagues and prospective customers. The role holder will lead effective product go to market strategies in partnership with our marketing teams to launch new products and propositions into market.

They will lead our product enablement programme the Blueprint, to support our commercial teams including training, standards, and effectiveness monitoring of product understanding by sales and client teams. The role holder will oversee product engagement for strategic accounts to drive retention and profitability of our key accounts.

How you’ll help us make health happen:

  • Be the driving force behind product engagement across UKI, leading events and campaigns to boost awareness and adoption.
  • Establish Bupa as a thought leader with over 3 million annual customer engagements through programmes like Health Horizons, Bupa Academy and Inside Health.
  • Design product merchandising plans and deliver assets that increase utilisation of priority products and pathways.
  • Develop reactive product engagement campaigns to communicate product improvements and benefits effectively.
  • Lead product engagement for strategic accounts through account reviews, immersion days and tailored priorities to support growth and retention.
  • Deliver go-to-market strategies for new products in partnership with marketing and brand teams, using customer insight to shape messaging and PR.
  • Own the Blueprint programme, ensuring commercial teams have the training and tools they need, while deepening broker engagement and delivering top-rated immersion experiences.
  • Manage budgets, agencies and performance tracking to optimise engagement activity and drive efficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain clear governance processes.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, setting objectives, coaching and building capability for future success.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • Proven leadership in product content or product marketing across complex, multi‑audience environments (customers, brokers, colleagues)
  • Strength in GTM planning, storytelling and message frameworks rooted in customer insight
  • Ability to coach and develop a high‑performing team; confident stakeholder management across Product, Marketing, Brand and Commercial
  • Regulatory awareness — create content that’s clear, accurate and compliant (we’ll cut jargon and explain terms in plain English)
  • Strong experience (8 years minimum) in product marketing or content strategy, ideally in health or insurance
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to turn complex ideas into clear, engaging messages
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to delivering campaigns and initiatives
  • Comfortable working with data and insights to measure impact and optimise performance.
