Senior Process Architect - HR Technology

Position Summary

CVS Health is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Process Architect to join our HR Technology team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at identifying process and system gaps, optimizes business processes, acts as liaison between business and technology teams to build an optimal solutions and effectively communicates status, business value and success metrics to leadership and stakeholders.

Job Duties

  • Contributes to product strategy by leading the development and enhancement of digital products or services.
  • Conducts market research, collaborates with cross-functional teams, designs user experiences, and oversees the product development lifecycle.
  • Applies expertise in user-centric design, agile methodologies, and market trends to help drive the success of digital products and ensure they meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Identifies inefficiencies and gaps in HR and payroll systems and processes, and documents findings and collaborates with technical teams to develop solutions.
  • Handles different aspects of the entire product life cycle from developing ideas to prototyping and testing new features and product ideas.
  • Creates features and stories for current and future products based on consumer insights, research, business goals, and Customer Experience (CX) needs.
  • Develops testing procedures for onsite, monthly, and quarterly assessments with detailed documentation review.
  • Coordinates with business teams and other key business partners to create a product vision, understand and help identify business value, understand required use cases and capabilities and translate these into product requirements.
  • Coordinates with talented technical partners from engineering, data science, user design, and architecture teams in a fast-paced, agile development process to successfully enhance the company's competitive advantage in the industry.
  • Approves budget resource levels and product iterations, schedules, releases, and roadmaps to maintain speed to market and differentiation.
  • Analyzes and refines existing workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and align operations with strategic objectives and standardized technology solutions.
  • Establishes and enforces best practices and streamlined processes to drive operational efficiency and consistency across teams.
  • Creates and delivers clear, compelling presentations to stakeholders.
  • Communicates complex process flows and project updates effectively. Develops visual process flows to illustrate current and future state processes and explains these flows to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally in Agile environments and develops product model frameworks to drive iterative process improvements and deliver optimized, user-centric business solutions.


Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years' experience as a business analyst or process architect with expertise in defining current state business processes and building strategy for optimal future state.

  • 5+ years' experience with visualization tools like: Visio, Lucid, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel.

  • 5+ years' experience with Agile and project management tools like: Jira, SharePoint, Microsoft Project and other Microsoft Office tools.

  • 5+ years' experience managing and prioritizing multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • 3+ years' experience building vision for Technical Products, and driving execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting).

  • 3+ years' experience in portfolio review presentations and stakeholder communication.

  • 3+ years' experience working in HR Technology (HRIS/HRIT).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong background in HR and Payroll processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Adept at collaboration and teamwork.
  • Growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others).
  • Familiarity with change management processes.
  • Experience working in large, matrix organizations.
  • Experience with SQL and proficiency in creating data visualizations.


Education

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Specialized training/relevant professional qualifications preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$118,450.00 - $260,590.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
