As a Sr. Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist, you'll be crucial to missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. 
This position is in Dulles, VA and requires you to be onsite 2-3 days a week.
This position is contingent upon capturing program award(s) as well as obtaining and maintaining associated business and/or customer funding prior to start date.
Roles and responsibilities: 
- Responsible for working with Program Management, Manufacturing and Engineering to load requirements into MRP to meet manufacturing and testing schedules per the Integrated Master Schedule
- Ensuring consistent Material Finance reporting on program material and responsible for working with other planners, engineers, and program representatives to forecast material costs. 
- Responsible for the assessment of supply resources; aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements; plans inventory, distribution requirements, production, material and rough-cut capacity for all products
- Participates in make/buy process, long-term capacity and resource planning; product phase-in/phase-out, manufacturing ramp-up, end-of-life management and product-line management
- Plans inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements
- Creates/reduces supply requirements based on inventory adjustments and anticipated attrition levels
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, project management, logistics or relevant experience.  Or in lieu of a degree, 12 years of experience in supply chain, project management, logistics or relevant experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems, financial systems, FAR, and DFAR 
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with DoD customers
- Procurement experience in Government environment

Primary Level Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
