The role we are offering you:
We are seeking a Price to Win Analyst to join our Competitive Analysis team. This role is critical in shaping winning bids by analyzing customer expectations, competitor strategies, and market dynamics to determine the optimal price point that maximizes win probability while maintaining profitability.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
Develop Price to Win models to shape pricing decisions and capture strategies.
Perform competitor profiling and cost benchmarking using historical data and market intelligence.
Collaborate with capture managers, business development, and technical teams to align PTW with solution design and win strategy.
Conduct customer evaluation analysis (budget, procurement behavior, price sensitivity).
Build and validate scenario-based pricing models (parametric, Excel-based).
Present PTW findings to management for price reviews and governance boards.
Maintain and update PTW assessments throughout the bid lifecycle.
Gather, analyze, and centralize competitor and market intelligence to feed PTW models and decision-making.
Contribute to process improvements for PTW integration and support for strategic pursuits.
Our ideal candidate has :
Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
5-10 years experience in price to win methodology, pricing, costing, or competitive analysis (defense or high-tech industry preferred).
Ability to research and analyze competitor capabilities, pricing behaviors, and win themes; proficiency in SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis and translating insights into actionable strategies.
Expertise in building parametric and scenario-based pricing models; advanced Excel modeling and validation using historical data and benchmarks.
Understanding of customer evaluation criteria and scoring systems; ability to simulate price-to-score trade-offs to identify the win zone.
Strong analytical and business acumen; autonomous and proactive.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to explain and defend assessments to senior stakeholders.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Bilingual (French and English) is required.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Data visualization tools such as Power BI is an asset.
Capability of obtaining a Canadian Security & Controlled Goods clearance (mandatory).
