Senior Operation Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role requires a strong background in operations and support, with the ability to lead one of our Solution Operations Teams while also performing hands-on operational tasks. Strong technical skills, including DevOps, CI/CD, cloud platforms, and scripting, are highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 8 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in operations, support, and technical problem-solving.

Education and Experience

  • Experience: 6 to 8 years of experience in operations, IT support, or a similar role; proven experience in leading operational teams is a plus.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, Python, and CI/CD tools.
  • Operational Skills: Proven experience in incident management, problem management, release management, and effective communication with cross-functional teams.
  • Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a Solution Operations Team, providing guidance, mentorship, and operational oversight.
  • Perform hands-on support, including incident resolution, troubleshooting, and problem management.
  • Handle and resolve incidents promptly, identify root causes of recurring issues, manage the release of new features and updates, and act as a liaison between the Product Owner (PO), development team, and frontline team to ensure clear and effective communication.
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and optimize infrastructure for better performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain scripts using Python, PowerShell, or similar tools to automate operational tasks and processes.
  • Manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines on Jenkins and GitLab tools.

Skills

Must Have:

  • Operations Management: Lead operational activities and provide hands-on support; handle incidents promptly, identify root causes of recurring issues, manage releases, and communicate effectively with development and frontline teams. Experience monitoring systems using AWS services.
  • DevOps Practices: Apply DevOps principles to streamline development and operations, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of applications.
  • CI/CD & Automation: Manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab) and develop scripts to automate operational tasks.

Nice to Have:

  • System Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor system performance, identify issues, and optimize infrastructure for better performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Experience in .NET, C#, and ReactJS.
