Job Description – Snr Material Handler
Location: Loughborough, UK (Bishop Meadow Road)
Permanent, Monday–Friday, days only – flexibility around start/finish times.
Holidays: 25 days per year.

What you’ll do:
Join the Inbound Logistics Team and receive inbound deliveries on a daily basis.
Learn and become proficient in the material sampling process, including preparation and documentation.
Deliver raw materials and packaging components to production and warehouse areas in line with daily plans and schedules.
Manage inbound deliveries, including handling hazardous materials in full compliance with health & safety and environmental standards.
Perform stock put-away operations, locating goods into designated storage locations once processed.
Carry out inventory-management functions as needed, including stock reconciliation and system updates.
Train on the drum-cleaning process and support chemical sampling when required.
What we’re looking for:
Full, clean UK driving licence.
Experience operating forklifts (counter-balance / reach trucks) in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory role, ideally in a regulated or manufacturing environment.
Strong communication and customer-service focus, with the ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.
Comfortable using handheld scanners and updating systems; confident in learning to enter data across multiple platforms.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with an ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Discretion and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be beneficial (but not essential).
