What is the opportunity?
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Productivity & Efficiency to lead Technology & Operations (T&O) efforts in driving efficiency across our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing financial models to track benefits across various T&O productivity and efficiency (P&E) initiatives, analyzing data to identify incremental cost saving opportunities, implementing changes that result in increased productivity, and standing up effective stakeholder engagement models to facilitate transparency and fast adoption.
What will you do?
- Develop and maintain complex financial models, create accurate cash flow projections, conduct thorough cost-benefit analyses, and implement tracking mechanisms to monitor progress against their initial benefits targets.
- Apply logical criteria in evaluating T&O-sponsored business cases to justify or prioritize investments in technologies and initiatives, working closely with the Strategy and Governance team to streamline the review activities.
- Design and implement metrics (KPIs) to measure P&E initiative success and track progress against established financial goals, working closely with the Data Enablement and Financial Transformation teams to enable real-time reporting and analytics for P&E programs.
- Collaborate with planning teams to develop centrally-governed processes, where applicable, to enable consistency in delivery and consolidated reporting.
- Support the Investment Review Board to prioritize opportunities by ensuring benefits projections are data-driven and quality-controlled by validating assumptions in a timely manner.
- Support initiatives to drive stakeholder engagement including preparation of decks and materials for roadshows, as well as participation in program review sessions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging employees to identify tasks that can be stopped or automated, and supporting the impact assessment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in productivity and efficiency, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5+ years’ experience developing financial models and identifying appropriate data sources to enable insightful reporting
- Experience with end-to-end business case development including preparing a cost benefit analysis, value proposition, risk assessment and mitigation strategy.
- Experience implementing change, process mapping and developing / implementing governance structures which has high impact to cross functional partners
- Experience with monthly financial performance reporting, and complete thorough variance analysis between target and actuals.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and independently
Nice-to-have:
- Familiarity with data analytics and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau or other data analysis and visualization software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Naturally curious about technology, a self-starter, resourceful, and highly adaptive
