Zalando's Media Team within the Marketing department is looking for a (Senior) Manager Media Strategy & Planning (one year contract). You'll work across multiple markets and functions to design, develop, and implement media strategies , push the vision of Media for Zalando , and lead the planning of Zalando's global media campaigns.
Responsible for all the overarching media strategic output for the brand and Zalando's campaign calendar for brand media , you will design frameworks for Global and Local activations to be implemented by market teams. You will also be collaborating directly with our Global Media Agency and a diverse set of internal stakeholders.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Develop strategies and frameworks to push the vision of Media for the brand, owning annual Media Strategy & Planning, Global Campaigns Media Strategy and developing central frameworks and guidelines.
Design a roadmap to drive overarching/structural projects (e.g.: Full-Funnel, Content Transformation, Media Strategy Framework, Channel Mix Allocation, and Investment Framework, Media Guidelines, etc).
Develop clear roadmaps and frameworks for marketing rollouts across paid channels for 25 markets.
Collaborate across teams such as GTM (Go-to-Market) & Global Marketing, Organic Social, Digital Media, Performance Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Propositions Marketing, Media Go-to-Market Team to map needs and ensure consistency of media strategies & planning and implementations.
Collaborate and lead projects directly with our Global Media Strategy Agency.
Act as media captain in cross-disciplinary campaign teams.
Ensure the creative output meets the needs of the latest best practice across all formats and platforms.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HOLD
Gained at least 5 years of experience in Global Media Strategy and Media Planning (online/offline) within an Agency or Advertiser.
Hold a degree in either marketing, advertising, business and/or similar field (or an equivalent in working experience).
Excellent stakeholder management skills, professional confidence, and prioritization skills.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Proven record of planning successful media campaigns and implementing strategic frameworks across multiple teams.
Excellent presentation and excel skills, with the ability to interpret and elaborate on actionable outcomes from ambiguous contexts.
Experience working with multiple markets and ability to deploy a centralized approach while considering different geographical needs.
Innovative and out-of-the-box thinking to ensure Zalando's media approach is up-to-date and relevant to the development of marketing and business objectives.
Great communication skills and fluency in English.
Passionate about marketing/media and cross-teams cooperation.
Experience with Fashion / Retail / Beauty / Lifestyle industries appreciated but not mandatory.
