WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As Senior Manager of Analytics for Nike Korea, you will lead a team of analysts and collaborate closely with Territory leadership, Nike Direct, Sales, Planning, Merchandising, Finance, Strategy, and global analytics partners. You will report to the Senior Director of Analytics for Asia, Pacific and Latin America (APLA) based in WHQ (World Headquarter), and work cross-functionally to drive Korea’s analytics agenda.


WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Nike Korea seeks a strategic analytics leader with deep expertise in marketplace analytics, retail data, and team development. The ideal candidate excels at translating complex data into actionable insights, influencing senior stakeholders, and building high-performing teams in fast-paced, matrixed environments.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Business or related field (Advanced degree preferred)
  • 8+ years in analytics or related fields with 3+ years leading analytics teams
  • Experience with retail and marketplace data at scale
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and cloud analytics platforms (Databricks, Snowflake) and experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
  • Strong business acumen and strategic storytelling skills - Strong understanding of retail KPIs, revenue and margin drivers, product lifecycle and marketplace levers.
  • Ability to translate industry, competitive and consumer trends into business impact and to transform complex data into concise and compelling narratives that drive action.
  • Experience coaching and developing analytics talent


WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will own marketplace analytics for Korea, establish and scale the analytics practice, and deliver actionable recommendations that drive growth. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to embed analytics into key enterprise moments, support strategic decision-making, and foster a culture of curiosity and accountability.

  • Lead end-to-end analyses, define methodology, establish KPIs, and deliver strategic recommendations for marketplace performance.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses by triangulating multiple signals (sales, margin, market share, traffic, conversion) and represent macro-economic, marketplace, and consumer trends in business reviews.
  • Leverage predictive and scenario-based analysis in partnership with Data Science to inform strategic decisions.
  • Set the analytics agenda for Korea, prioritize team capacity for highest-impact work, and build scalable frameworks and efficient processes.
  • Distill complex data into clear, compelling storytelling for decision-makers and influence territory leadership as a thought partner and business consultant.
  • Lead, coach, and develop analysts through structured feedback, fostering a culture of curiosity, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Nike Direct, Sales, Planning, Merch, Finance, Strategy, global analytics teams, and Global Technology to ensure Korea’s analytical needs are represented and supported.
