Accountabilities/Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Intune and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). Skilled in designing configuration profiles, enforcing compliance policies, and implementing scalable, secure deployment frameworks aligned with organizational goals.
- Deep understanding of modern Windows OS management, including application packaging methodologies (MSI, Win32, MSIX), with a focus on standardization, automation, and user experience enhancement.
- PowerShell scripting to drive automation, streamline operational tasks, and generate actionable insights through custom reporting and analytics.
- Define and uphold SLAs, KPIs, and governance models for device management and patching operations.
Platform Ownership & Optimization
- Lead the lifecycle management of endpoint platforms including Microsoft Intune and SCCM, focusing on architecture, performance, cost efficiency, and security.
- Drive ownership and rapid resolution of incidents by diagnosing and resolving complex endpoint-related issues.
- Deliver scalable solutions that support diverse user groups while optimizing device performance and user experience.
Innovation & Technology Enablement
- Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to enhance endpoint management capabilities across device management platforms.
- Champion the use of intelligent monitoring, analytics, and automation tools to improve device health, compliance, and user experience.
- Proactively identify, discuss and implement innovative solutions to elevate end-user experience, productivity, and satisfaction across the device ecosystem.
- Implement AI-based automation for routine tasks like software updates, patch deployment, and compliance checks.
Regulatory & Security Compliance
- Implement robust data security, encryption, and access controls in compliance with GDPR, DORA and other organizational security posture.
- Ensure audit readiness and maintain documentation for internal and external compliance reviews.
- Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to manage controls and governance.
Team & Vendor Management
- Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement in device lifecycle and support operations.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance to ensure alignment with endpoint service delivery and support standards.
- Budget control and strategic allocation to support scalable and secure device management across the enterprise.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Educational Qualification
Knowledge & Skills (Key):
- Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Intune configurations for Windows devices.
- Package, deploy, and manage applications using Intune and other modern management tools.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate deployment and configuration tasks.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application deployment issues, ensuring minimal disruption to end users.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and service desk teams to align EUC strategies with organisational goals.
- Participate in EUC-related projects, including OS upgrades, device refreshes, and platform migrations.
- Being a SME or go to person for multiple product/project. Validate and challenge the technical changes by maintaining the high standard for the delivery. Embrace new technology changes.
- Understand the risk and controls around the applications.
- Be able to appreciate truly Agile ways of working/development using tools like Jira/Confluence.
- Collaborate with peers across various levels for experiential learnings.
- Focus on Scalability, resilience, security, quality and continuous rigour to reduce technical debt.
Experience:
- Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience - Intune-SCCM administrator/engineer.
- Experienced in leading the migration to cloud-native endpoint management.
- Experience of working with global infrastructure and support teams.
- Experience of working in a highly controlled and regulated environment with commercial mindset
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate/Masters in any discipline
- Any certifications would be an added advantage
