Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Design and deliver complex Azure infrastructure solutions ensuring security and governance best practices are followed
- Embrace and adapt to the changing environment by developing applications or script in the language of choice
- Torch bearer for the team – being a SME or go to person for the product/project. Validate and challenge the technical changes by maintaining the high standard for the delivery. Keep very relevant to the technology space
- Can develop products or do PoC with little instructions, should be able to troubleshoot in case of adverse incident and should be able to dissect complex problems
- Should be able to Mentor the team members, proactively look for sharing the knowledge and encourage collaboration
- Should be able to clearly articulate business values to the senior stakeholders and manage their expectation well
- Understand the risk and controls around the applications running in cloud
- Follow the software development lifecycle defined within the team
- Be able to appreciate truly Agile ways of working/development using tools like Jira/Confluence
- Collaborate with peers across various levels for experiential learnings
- Focus on Scalability, resilience, security, quality and continuous rigour to reduce technical debt
- Advance the cloud community through sharing of best practice and mentoring others
- Create and maintain build and release pipelines across Azure DevOps projects to support infrastructure deployments

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Educational Qualification
Knowledge & Skills:
Required
- Strong working and hands on knowledge of Azure core infrastructure resources to monitor and optimize cloud performance, cost-efficiency, resilience and reliability, ensuring robust and scalable solutions
- Proven expertise in integrating Azure IaaS and PaaS resources (e.g., VMs, SQL DB, App Service, Application Insights, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, Load Balancers, Entra ID) to deliver end-to-end automated solutions
- Automation and DevOps at the heart of all work you tackle
- Profound networking knowledge on DNA and Firewall security like Palo Alto
- Created solutions using containerisation and hands on experience in Kubernetes implementations (Preferably Azure redhat Openshift / OpenShift)
- Proficiency in developing infrastructure automation scripts using Terraform
- Thorough understanding of Continuous integration and continuous delivery using YAML & Azure DevOps.
- Comfortable with ARM templates, Shell script and Azure Power Shell scripts which can then be provided to application teams as consumables.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to independently solve problems and build robust solutions and enjoy working with minimal supervision within an Agile/Scrum/Kanban environment
- Strong understanding of Azure RBAC with hands-on experience in implementing role-based access controls across enterprise environments
- Good grasp of Azure governance principles with practical experience in enforcing compliance through governance policies and blueprints
- Sound understanding on building data pipelines, linked services, managing integration runtime for Azure Data Factory
- Skilled in building custom VM images using Packer/Ansible or other configuration management tools
- Experience with containers, registries and related orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Helm charts and Kyverno). Knowledge of GitOps and the most common tools
- Basic knowledge around Power Platform and Power BI
- Comfortable with scripting in JavaScript and Python for automating and tooling
- Leverage AI tools wherever appropriate to improve productivity
- Good in using JIRA and Confluence for Agile project management and documentation
- Proficient in CI/CD and monitoring tools such as SonarQube and ELK/Kibana
- Hands on experience on API development
- Multi cloud knowledge (OCI/GCP along with Azure)
Experience:
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience who can showcase delivering with the help of the team by taking responsibility end to end
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate/Masters in any discipline
- Cloud certifications would be an added advantage
