The HE Senior Manager, Retail Operations is responsible for driving the sales and adoption of HE Products, like OLED, QLED TVs, audio Soundbars, monitors, memory, and accessories, through partnerships with major retailers and regional accounts. This role is responsible for developing, communicating, and supporting HE Field Sales, Merch, and POP strategies within the Retail Operations CE Business Unit and the broader HE Product, Sales, and Marketing teams. 

The HE Senior Manager of Retail Operations is responsible for aligning HE product and sales performance goals with the HE Retail Operations field execution responsibilities related to product launch programs, sell-out management, training, and reporting, while providing internal advocacy to improve the partner and customer experience.

Elevate day to day representation of HE Retail Operations team within the HE Business, defining, communicating, and managing business-level priorities and communicating challenges and opportunities both up and down the HE Sales and Marketing organization.

  • Improve and maintain a business's efficiency across HE Channel Operations.
  • Streamlining operations, optimizing team performance, and improving processes.
  • Overseeing and reporting metrics, identifying trends, and assessing opportunities to improve processes
  • Deliver cross-channel processes that drive improved performance and productivity of the HE Channel Operations team.
  • Dramatically improve process consistency and streamlined workflows between HE Channel Operations and key cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support CE Retail Operations Leadership to execute Key Account channel initiatives, and become part of a high-performing CE Retail Operations team aligned to the highest standards of strategic planning, program management, and execution.

Role Expectations

  • Sales and Performance Management: Analyze and report on regional sales performance, identify opportunities to improve underperforming areas, and develop pilot programs and incentives to increase market share.
  • Partnership Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external leadership at partner companies and agencies.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute joint business plans and strategies with partners to launch and promote HE products and accessories.
  • Product Activation: Oversee new product introductions, ensuring partners are equipped with the knowledge and training to effectively sell HE products and accessories.
  • Internal Advocacy: Act as a liaison between partners and internal Samsung teams, advocating for partner needs and driving initiatives to improve the overall partner and customer experience.
  • Incentive Programs: Design, develop, and execute National sales incentives to drive partner sales performance.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of retail management experience, preferably in CE and other fast-moving categories.
  • Experience in customer experience design, development, visibility, and knowledge of retail tech.
  • Strong leader with strategic business management skills who can appropriately shift between tactical and strategic perspectives.
  • Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and analytical skills to develop effective sales and activation programs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to effectively convey strategies and information.
  • Will need to be results-oriented, seek empowerment, inquisitive, comfortable with ambiguity, and possess versatile communication styles.
  • Ability to manage and develop teams, work cooperatively with internal business partners locally and globally, and customers, sharing ideas and developing effective solutions in line with brand plans and company mission.
  • Ability to influence, lead, motivate, and direct the activities of cross-functional resources and support groups to attain objectives, establish project schedules, and execute within a specified timeline.
  • Approximately 25% travel is expected.

The salary range for this role is expected to be between $160,000 and $170,000.  Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
