The Opportunity:

CACI has an immediate opening for a Senior Logistics Analyst (SLA) to provide Naval Forces Logistics (NFL) tasking support at COMNAVSURFPAC (CNSP) located at Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, CA.  The Senior Logistics Analyst will provide technical support to the overall Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) for CNSP activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Review Allowance Change Requests (ACR) for CNSP activities provided through the NAVSUP ACR portal. Provide recommendations to the government for approval consideration.

  • Conduct technical research and analysis of COSAL Allowance Parts List (APL)/Allowance Equipment Lists (AEL), review monthly NAVSUP WSS Automated Shore Interface (ASI) files for inaccuracies in allowancing records, and provide input on discrepant information contained on these lists and records.

  • Recommend resolutions, improvements, enhancements, or revisions to the overall COSAL allowancing processes for current and future allowance product builds. Maintain tracking records of ASI files applied by CNSP activities.

  • Develop timelines for COSAL grooms and scheduling Targeted Allowance RECON Tool (T-ART).  Participate and conduct grooming, preliminary and final COSAL review for scheduled CNSP activities. Maintain historical database and files of completed COSAL reviews and products.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Current DoD SECRET Security Clearance to qualify.

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related business discipline.

  • As a substitute for the degree, four years of “hands-on” experience in a combination of automated supply, logistics and financial management may be utilized. Training related to the “degree substitute” provided at Navy schools is considered “hands on” experience.

  • In addition to any experience which is substituted for education, must have eight years of experience in Navy automated supply, logistics, inventory management, financial management and the functionality of the automated supply systems.

  • Automated supply systems refers to NTCSS (R-Supply and OMMS-NG) systems used on Navy Ships and ashore commands.

  • Expert level knowledge with MS Office Suite products (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Experience in automated supply/maintenance management systems must be with NTCSS (R-Supply Unit or Force Level) software from a Stock Control manager aspect to effectively analyze a wide array of file conditions.

  • Strong verbal and writing skills to effectively prepare, update and brief daily reports.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$67,800 - 142,200 USD
