About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Lecturer to lead interprofessional education within the College of Medicine and Public Health. This teaching-specialist role focuses on delivering excellence in medical and bioscience education, curriculum innovation, and educational leadership. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping interprofessional learning experiences, enhancing student success, and contributing to the strategic goals of the University. This is a continuing, full-time position offering the opportunity to influence future healthcare education through collaborative and forward-thinking approaches.

  • Lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of interprofessional education across medical and bioscience programs.

  • Coordinate and teach topics using innovative, student-centred approaches and advanced learning technologies.

  • Provide academic leadership in curriculum development, accreditation processes, and educational best practices.

  • Engage in professional and community service, fostering partnerships that enhance student employability and global engagement.

About You

You are a passionate educator with a strong foundation in health or medical sciences and a commitment to interprofessional learning. With a track record of excellence in teaching and curriculum innovation, you bring leadership, creativity, and a student-centred approach to everything you do. Your ability to collaborate, communicate, and inspire makes you a key contributor to academic and community engagement.

  • PhD or equivalent in a relevant health or medical field; education qualifications in interprofessional learning highly desirable.

  • Proven excellence in tertiary teaching, curriculum design, and course coordination.

  • Strong leadership in educational innovation, including use of online platforms and contemporary pedagogy.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with national/international engagement in professional domains.
