Title: Senior Lead - Tech PM

Provides consultation to the business unit and IT Project management and strategies.  Undertakes complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge. Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Helps defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Responsible for project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Provides specialized knowledge and analytical guidance to project team.

Major Duties :

1. Provides consultation to business unit and IT Project management and strategies.
2. Undertakes complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge.
3. Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation.
4. Helps defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
5. Acts as a resource for direction, training and guidance for less experienced staff.
6. Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication.
7. Handles the most complex IT projects. Coordinates with users to determine requirements.
8. Experienced, functional expert with technical and/or business knowledge and functional expertise

Knowledge :Specialized knowledge of IT projects, good consultative skills, strong analytical ability and ability to work effectively with clients and IT management and staff. Strong analytical skills are needed to analyze and evaluate technical information and coordinate projects. Requires strong communication, technical teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Experience :Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or related experience as a project team member, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Salary Range:

$95,600 - 162,400 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
