About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Lead Communications Consultant to join our India and the Philippines Communications team. Based in Manila, the role leads integrated internal and external communications, partnering closely with the Philippines Country Head and the regional communications leader to craft compelling messages, strengthen leadership visibility, drive impactful campaigns, and enhance Wells Fargo’s brand through public relations and industry engagement.

The candidate will also anchor the regional priorities through strategic storytelling, connecting people, purpose, and impact with the Enterprise vision.


In this role, you will:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic counselor to executive leadership
  • Develop and implement communications strategies to promote and protect Wells Fargo’s reputation
  • Advise executive leadership on communications strategy to drive business priorities, and support Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
  • Partner with other Communications teams to ensure alignment of communications strategies and messaging


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be a graduate of a bachelor's degree or higher
  • Candidate must have 7+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience in leadership / management capacity
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills across diverse formats and channels, with the ability to simplify complex information into clear, engaging content.
  • Experience in large global organizations or matrixed environments, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects in fast-paced settings.
  • Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades and influences decision-making.
  • Ability to partner with senior executives and craft strategic, high-impact messages.
  • Hands-on experience in media relations and managing PR agencies.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, email marketing platforms, and digital signage systems.
  • Candidate must be amenable to work on a mid / night shift at Taguig, City


Job Expectations:

  • Partner with the Philippines Country Head to develop and execute communication strategies, leadership messages, and site-wide initiatives such as Town Halls, leadership connects, etc.
  • Serve as the Philippines communications lead driving integrated internal and external communications for the site.
  • Collaborate with the regional Communications team to execute region-wide campaigns and ensure consistent cross-region messaging.
  • Proactively identify and develop storytelling opportunities that showcase Wells Fargo’s people, culture, innovation, and impact—aligning with regional priorities and the Enterprise vision.
  • Lead PR strategy and media engagement in the Philippines, building strong relationships with journalists, editors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Drive industry engagement through forums, partnerships, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Track and analyze engagement metrics, using insights to refine communication strategies and improve content effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Businesses, HR, CSR, CPG, etc. to amplify key initiatives.
  • Serve on the Crisis Management Team and lead crisis communication efforts for the Philippines.
  • Bring a strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution.
  • Be proactive, solution-oriented, and adaptable to changing business needs.
  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
