Position Overview: The Hartford is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Agentic/Productivity/End User Generative AI Engineer to join our team. This individual will consult with various departments to help them understand and leverage the best Generative AI tools to enhance their productivity and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with M365 Copilot's applications in financial services and possess expert knowledge in Copilot for Excel, Teams, M365 Copilot Chat, Outlook, and OneDrive. Additionally, the candidate should be proficient with Google Gemini and AWS Q toolsets and have experience with Copilot Studio, Copilot extensions, and Copilot Agents for use in SharePoint sites. The Engineer should be adept in working in a multi-tier IT Product/Service owner support model
Key Responsibilities:
Consult with departments to identify their productivity needs and recommend appropriate Generative AI tools.
Provide expert guidance on the use of M365 Capabilities, M365 Copilot and Agentic technologies in financial services, including Excel, Teams, M365 Copilot Chat, Outlook, and OneDrive.
Demonstrate and implement solutions using Google Gemini CoPilot Studio and AWS toolsets.
Develop and customize Copilot extensions and agents for use with M365 Data and SharePoint sites using Copilot Studio.
Act as product owner/service lead for Productivity GENAI Services and capabilities
Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on the effective use of Generative AI tools.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of AI tools into existing workflows.
Report on business value of Collaborative GENAI and Agentic creation toolsets at the enterprise level including usage demand and adoption. Use tools such as Viva Insights and Analytics to report and provide dashboard to Leadership.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in Generative AI and continuously improve the AI toolset offerings including AI planning and reasoning mechanisms, Multi-Agent Systems, Human Agent Interaction and LLM integration and prompt engineering
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, AI or a related field. A Certification in Agentic AI or Agentic AI for Organizational Transformation
Proven experience with AI in Productivity and Collaboration services specifically M365 Copilot and its applications in financial services.
Expertise in Copilot for Excel, Teams, M365 Copilot Chat, Outlook, and OneDrive.
Expertise in using Azure GENAI service such as Azure OpenAI, AI Translator, Azure AI Search, AI Agent Service and AI Builder
Proficiency with Google Gemini CoPilot Studio Agent Builder, AI Foundry and AWS GENAI toolsets.
Experience with Copilot Studio, Copilot extensions, and crafting agents for SharePoint sites, agents Utilizing MCP, Multi Agent and Multi cloud solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passion for staying current with emerging Collaboration and AI technologies and industry trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in AI, NLP and Machine Learning.
Certifications in Microsoft, Google, or AWS technologies.
Experience in the financial services industry.
This role will have a Hybrid work schedule, with the expectation of working in an office (Columbus, OH, Chicago, IL, Hartford, CT or Charlotte, NC) 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).
Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. The company will not support the STEM OPT I-983 Training Plan endorsement for this position.
Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$115,760 - $173,640
