What are we looking for?

We are seeking a skilled and automation-driven IT Automation Engineer to join our growing team in TLV. In this role, you will help automate our global IT infrastructure — working closely with our global IT team to enhance system reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

If you are passionate about automating IT processes, simplifying complex systems, and driving innovation through infrastructure-as-code and DevOps practices, this is an opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic, global environment.

What will you Do?

  • Collaborate with global peers on IT and InfoSec projects to implement scalable, secure, and automated solutions.
  • Automate system provisioning, configuration, and maintenance across multi-site infrastructure using automation.
  • Develop monitoring and alerting automations using tools like Grafana, Zabbix, and syslog, ensuring proactive issue detection and resolution.
  • Implement CI/CD processes for IT workflows — integrating automation pipelines for configuration, monitoring, and patching.
  • Deploy and administer virtualization platforms (VMware, vCenter) and automate VM lifecycle management.
  • Design, maintain, and monitor a global hybrid IT environment spanning Windows, Linux, and macOS servers with automation tools.
  • Configure and optimize enterprise networking components, including firewalls, switches, and routers, with a focus on infrastructure automation and compliance.
  • Administer storage systems (NetApp or similar), automating NFS/CIFS/iSCSI operations for consistency and scale.
  • Integrate and manage security and Zero Trust solutions (e.g., Zscaler) through automated policy deployment.
  • Maintain high standards for system reliability, observability, and security compliance across all infrastructure layers.

What experience or knowledge should you bring?

  • 4–6 years of experience in IT automation engineering or DevOps roles supporting multi-site enterprise environments.

  • Strong automation mindset with hands-on experience in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Rest API)

  • Experience with automation/configuration tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, or Terraform (advantageous).

  • Proven expertise with VMware & vCenter in large-scale environments, including automation of provisioning and patching tasks.

  • Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and macOS administration.

  • Knowledge of monitoring systems (Grafana, Zabbix, PRTG) and log management platforms (e.g., Splunk, syslog).

  • Experience with ZTNA and SaaS-based security (Zscaler or similar).

  • Familiarity with storage management (NetApp, NFS, CIFS, iSCSI) and automation of backup/recovery processes.

  • Advantageous: Experience integrating IT automation into CI/CD or DevOps frameworks.

  • A collaborative, service-oriented personality with a strong ability to work independently and proactively.

What will make you stand out

  • You thrive on eliminating repetitive manual work through automation.

  • You enjoy bridging IT operations with DevOps practices.

  • You can translate system management challenges into clean, reusable scripts or playbooks.
