About the department


Nasdaq’s surveillance function includes listings, surveillance, enforcement and investigations. The surveillance function aims to keep Nasdaq’s markets fair and efficient, by upholding effective and well-balanced regulation and fairly enforcing our rules. We are at the core of the marketplaces, and we interact with issuers, trading participants, investors, and regulators to build and preserve confidence in our markets. We take part in forming rules and practices and we make important decisions to protect investors and to uphold orderly trading.

The listings and enforcement and investigations team (also called Issuer Surveillance) are responsible for the listings and ongoing monitoring of issuers across the Nasdaq Stockholm markets for equities, fixed income and exchange traded products.

Job description

The department is looking for a new member to join the team, with the responsibility of managing ongoing listings and corporate actions.  The role is based in Vilnius and will be reporting into a Stockholm-based team.

Role and responsibilities

  • Assessing and managing instrument listing and corporate action requests.
  • Reviewing required documentation to list instruments at Nasdaq Stockholm and process corporate actions, including disclosure documents (e.g. prospectuses, etc.).
  • Supporting issuers, advisers and other external stakeholders on listing requirements and the associated documents required to list at Nasdaq Stockholm.
  • Managing and addressing general issuer surveillance queries, enforcing best practice and applicable procedures.
  • Draft, update and publish market announcements which contribute to the transparent, fair and orderly functioning of the market.
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders such as Product teams, Backoffice, Trading Surveillance, etc.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English (oral and writing).
  • Experience of finance, financial markets and understanding of trading and financial instruments.
  • Broad knowledge of Microsoft Excel, proficiency with Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Team player with a proactive approach and able to collaborate across departments/locations.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities.
  • Preferably a degree in Finance, Law, Economics, Business or a related field.

What happens now?

This is a full-time permanent position located in Vilnius. Nasdaq offers a hybrid workplace to find a balance between working from home and collaborating in the office with a requirement to attend the office at least 3 days a week.

Monthly base salary 2500-3500 EUR gross. The final offer will be based on your experience and skills.
