The Installation Supervisor is accountable for safe, high quality and efficient installation of the KONE solution, according to the agreed / contracted scope, schedule and budget. He/she ensures proper planning of site activities and preparation of site readiness, is in charge of installation activities, manages and supports the installation team, verifies the installation deliverables and ensures readiness for customer and maintenance handovers. He/she acts as the KONE interface to the customer at the installation site and to other parties throughout the installation process. He/she supports the sales team and the technical sales support team in pre-tender, tender and order activities when needed / requested.

Site supervision:
· Accountable for safety, quality and productivity during installation and handovers, and for
corrective actions to any detected non-conformities
· Accountable for the use of correct KONE installation methods, and for proper risk assessment
for parts of installation where KONE method is not available
· Responsible for site preparations, site readiness, site visits and audits, including resolution of
site readiness non-conformities with customer (supported by Project Manager as needed)
· Responsible for verifying the site execution plan and financial forecast as part of the pre-delivery
review, thereafter confirms S-plan MS 2z and assumes site execution responsibility
· Thereafter is responsible for realistic scheduling MS 3c (material delivery to site), installation
activities and handovers, and for confirmation of S-plan milestones 3 – 5z
· Responsible for the verification of site readiness and payment status according to S-plan
concept and contract terms (supported by Project Admin)
· Responsible for planning of installation activities, site storage and logistics, and needed
resources and tools
· Requests materials to site (MS 3x), confirms delivery of KONE materials to site (MS 3c),
receives other materials and services at site and performs Goods Receipt
· Accountable for performing installation handover to and from installers and subcontractors,
managing installation progress, final testing of the equipment and handover to maintenance
· Responsible for quality claims/feedbacks, time sheet approvals, installation documentation,
reporting of installation progress, status, cost accumulation and risks, and managing schedule
and other changes
· Responsible for management of environmental aspects of the installation (waste and hazardous
material handling)
Customer Relationship management:
· Acts as a single point of contact towards the customer during installation regarding site
management, with pro-active communication and usage of related tools
· Responsible for achieving own targets of add-on sales and change orders during installation
· Accountable for customer satisfaction on installation process and quality of installation
Subcontractor relations and people leadership:
· Responsible for verifying that installers are trained, certified, competent and capable of
performing each installation task
· Accountable for site operatives’ motivation and wellbeing
· Responsible for identifying field operative training needs and communicating these to respective
line managers, HR, installation subcontracting companies and sourcing
· Responsible for site planning, communication, objective setting and progress monitoring
· Responsible for managing the performance of the team and individuals
· Responsible for developing and maintaining a proactive and professional relationship with
subcontractor
